Our name tells part of the story, the Native Children’s Foundation of Canada.
TODAY, people of aboriginal ancestry in Canada are the fastest growing segment of the country’s population. Yet, with native people numbering up to two million, there are still many communities with little or no Gospel witness.
The sad truth is that many native children have never heard the Savior’s precious Gospel message. They live without the hope that only Christ can offer.
Everyone in native communities have stories to tell about their personal battles with unemployment, crime, disease, alcoholism, solvent abuse and family violence.
Studies show that these communities also have some of the highest suicide rates in the world and the ones that suffer the most are the aboriginal children.
That is where the Native children’s Foundation of Canada comes in, because ALL children’s needs are pretty much the same….they ALL NEED JESUS!
